A new wrinkle to the ranking artist lists…
Artist ranking lists have become the go to media to create lighting in a bottle for a boost, so usually I don’t pay attention to them. Opinions are just debatable but purely hypothetical. IG content creator Rawest in Rino has been ranking and bringing street artists to the forefront for years, and his lists is based on something tangible in this case. His latest is a Top 25 CO artists based on Spotify Monthly listeners only, giving the ever debatable listing practice a more concrete foundation. This by no means is saying they are the best, as that is based on preference.
Fans quickly pointed out some omissions but the depth of this research should be applauded. Artists like Old Man Saxon, TheycallhimAP and Lil Travieso took the top 3 spots, but I’m certain future editions of this list being impacted by omitted artists. This is a great start for someone who has no idea what Colorado artists sound like. Click the IG post below to check it out.
