It’s already been a week since our first installment of this series featuring RM3. This week there is so much new music, we had to take the wheel and give you some new stuff to add to your playlists. Ye drops a surprise album, Juvenile releases and anticipated project since his Verzus appearance, Snoop steps up to boss mode and the LOX drop a new visual. Watch the videos belows.
Ye Returns!
The artist formerly know as Kanye West, now affectionally would like to be referred to as Ye drops a surprise album in “Bully.” Ye has been known for his antics and surprise music drops through his career as an producer. He dropped multiple videos and delivered to streaming on Saturday March 28th, his first release since DONDA in 2022. Regardless of what any of us think of his antics, Ye proves again he is a master of drawing attention and is a top level producer.
Cash Money Records veteran Juvenile has been steaming since his appearance on Verzus against No Limit. His single “B.B.B.” is hot on the radio stations and the remix with Megan the Stallion has been buzzing heavy over the last month. This album features production of course from Mannie Fresh, Drok, Swizz Beats and even Timbaland. The album Boiling Point is his first album since 2019’s collaborative project with Birdman, Just Another Gangsta.
Snoop Dogg seems to be everywhere, much to the ire of many diehard fans when he performed at Trump’s inauguration. But Snoop keeps it moving. Despite drama with his long time collaborator and cousin Daz, Snoop pushes forward. This time as the boss of Deathrow Records, Snoop seems determined to drag the label into the 21st century with a bang. 10 Til’ Midnight is a soundtrack for reflection and growth, a space to pause, make choices, and keep moving forward. “We’re all standing right there every night, ten minutes away from who we’re gonna be next,’ Snoop says, framing the album as a personal and universal statement on ambition, self-determination, and progress.”
The L.O.X. might be doing more podcasting than music lately but that don’t mean they stay sharp and ready. Their new single “Never Change” is mature, R&B driven but the trio shows their blades are sharp. Pinero, Sheek, and Kiss deliver a solid effort with this joint.
The one-eyed wonder, recently released rapper known as Fetty Wap delivers a new style on his latest effort. Obviously an homage to Sinners, the video features a barn turned full juke joint and Fetty sings change of pace tune to get the crowd moving. He’s taking his second chance to break outside of the typical trap song we’re accustomed to from the rapper.
